About the Artist
Lily Lutz (b. 1999) is a San Diego–born artist and a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she earned her BA in Fine Art. After several years living and working in New York City within the art and culture sector, she began an open-ended journey of travel, with much of her time and creative work rooted in Australia.
Movement and place are central to Lily’s practice. Whether working along the California coast or immersed in unfamiliar landscapes abroad, each location offers an opportunity for reflection, expanded perspective, and deeper connection—shaping both the emotional and visual language of her work.
Specializing in acrylic painting, Lily works across traditional canvas, surfboards, murals, and digital media. Her work balances realism with graphic and abstract elements, often exploring themes of nature, duality, sentimentality, solitude, and consciousness. Lily’s work has been exhibited in the U.S. and Australia and includes collaborations and commissioned projects across both fine art and public-facing spaces. As her practice continues to evolve, she remains committed to creating work that holds both comfort and chaos—inviting quiet introspection and emotional resonance through an intentional, intuitive aesthetic.
