Lily Lutz (b. 1999) is a San Diego–born artist whose practice is shaped by movement, place, and emotional perception. After several years living and working in New York City, she began an open-ended journey of travel, with much of her recent work rooted in Australia.

Shifting landscapes play a central role in Lily’s process. Whether along the California coast or immersed in unfamiliar environments abroad, each location becomes a space for personal and global reflection—expanding her perspective and informing both the emotional and visual language of her work.

Working primarily in acrylic, Lily creates across canvas, surfboards, murals, and digital media. Her compositions balance elements of realism with graphic and abstract forms, often exploring themes of nature, solitude, sentimentality, and consciousness. Through bold color and symbolic imagery, her work captures fleeting emotional states—moments that exist between presence and memory.

Lily has exhibited throughout the United States and Australia, with experience spanning both fine art contexts and public-facing commissions.

As her practice continues to evolve, she remains committed to creating work that holds both comfort and tension—inviting quiet introspection and a deeper awareness of the ephemeral nature of experience.
